Puglia offers a stay full of variety, taking in the countryside, swimming and cultural visits. In the Valle d'Itria, you can drive along roads lined with olive trees, discover the trulli around Alberobello or stop at a masseria to sample local produce.
Further south in Salento, Lecce adds a more cultural note with its baroque architecture, while the Adriatic and Ionian coasts are better suited to days by the sea, snorkelling or boat trips.
Food is also part of the journey, with orecchiette, burrata, focaccia and olive oil produced in the region. Markets, small trattorias and masserie make it easy to discover these specialities during the stay.
The vibe was wonderful. So peaceful and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was so well equipped....
Loved the grounds and surrounding area. Liked the rooms were all distinctly different and far enough...
